Every club can earn the Presidential Citation.
 
Clubs that are growing stronger, creating positive change in our communities, and enhancing our public image deserve recognition. The Presidential Citation is one way to acknowledge their work.

Who can nominate: District governors

Club deadline: 31 March 2015 (for submitting forms to district governor)

District governor deadline: 15 April 2015 (for reporting qualifying clubs to RI)

Membership

  • Increase retention percentage of clubs
  • Every club achieve an increase in membership numbers
  • Charter one new Rotaract Club
  • Charter one new Interact Club
     

The Rotary Foundation

  • Achieve a net increase in District Annual Fund per capita giving versus 2012-2013
  • Every club participates in the Annual Fund
  • Every Rotarian participates in the Annual Fund at any level
  • Every club participates in Polio Plus

 

Club Service

  • Recommend every club establishes a mentoring program for new member

 

Community Service

Each Club should implement projects that address the needs of their communities or international communities

  • Clubs to send articles/photos of projects to monthly district newsletter
  • Every club should seek recognition in local media for its service projects

 

International Service

  • Increase club's and District participation in Global grants
  • Sponsor at least one Vocational training Team 

 

Vocational Service

  • Encourage clubs to offer local schools an opportunity to shadow members,  sponsor and execute a career day or leadership conference

 

New Generations

  • Every club participates in at least one Youth Services program (Early Act, Middle Act, Interact, Rotaract, RYLA, or Youth Exchange)

 

Web Presence and Social Media

  • Enhance the District's methods of communication with increased utilization of district website, Facebook®, Vimeo®, YouTube®, RSS News feeds, links to audio interviews, or speakers bureau
